In a paroxism of guilt i made a couple of paintings for my parents.
They were good practice.
I'm thinking of branching into the fine arts, which means I really gotta start working on my technique.
Also theres flash gleam everywhere. I am not yet a masterful camerasmith.

Eggplant Season

There was this great movie by Jim Jarmusch called "Down by Law" in which Tom Waits(singing hobo), Jim Lurie(pimp) and Roberto Bergnini(the italian guy from "Life is Beautiful") are escaping a town jail somewhere in Loisiana.

While Tom Waits and Lurie's characters are busy Staring with Meaning Into Open Space, and being general hipsters, the Bergnini character finds himself a hot wife in the swamp.

Anyway, the point is the cinematography in that movie is wicked, I was thinking about it, and painted this here swampy thing:

He has such an old-school face, like a well-used rugby melon.
